A helpful app (PC) is Hex Color Finder

On the mac, a similar app is called Digital Color Meter.

In Pubwriter, you can define the color of the text - specifically:

• Paragraph Text
• Block Callouts
• Headings
• Page Background
• Site Background

You can also choose from a variety of textures for the page or site background.
